Called in today by chance. Have visited two times before and NEVER been disappointed but today was even better. I had two pieces of Haddock and fries. The fish was really big and absolutely delicious. Without a doubt it is the best fried fish that I have ever eaten. The fish was really fresh and flaked easily. Cooked to perfection. The batter was crispy and golden. The fries also were delicious as was the coleslaw and tartar sauce and fresh cut lemon slices. Perfect fish and chips. My wife chose the Stonehouse burger. Again with perfect fries and trimmings and so meaty it could have been a steak. Delicious tasting and again, perfectly cooked. My wife had the cheesecake which again was gorgeous and I had Fat Tug beer perfectly kept and served. The lady who served us was welcoming and friendly and very attentive. We sat in the conservatory room which was lovely and warm with a nice view of the courtyard. This is an amazing place and if you have never been here you really need to arrange a visit soon!

We come to the Stonehouse for supper all the time for a impromptu supper evening and the meal and service was great.
Salmon was excellent and I was happy to see that bangers and mash were back and they are always good.
Jennifer was our server and did a great job.

We found that gem yesterday because we missed our ferry! This picturesque building is actually a pub! I think the house was converted into a pub. Tables inside and outside, nice and friendly staff, trees around. Irish coffee was good! If you are around Swartz Bay terminal, go check them!
